'Catharine (Katy) Cabot, a young American woman in Europe, was for many years a patient of C.G. Jung and she was also a part of his Zurich circle from the 1930s through the 1950s. She kept a diary, recording the details of her psychoanalytic sessions with Jung along with her inner and outer experiences. "Onkel" (Uncle), as Jung was known to her, became an integral part of her life in those years and he, his family and their friends all figure prominently in her life story as it unfolds in these pages....'
