'This thesis is based on the idea that there are two forms of consciousness, logos consciousness and eros consciousness; the former is the conscious principle of man, the latter that of woman. Both are symbolized by the attribute of light, the one by the light of the sun, the other by the light of the moon, the one by the right eye, the other by the left eye.
