Subject(s): Abstract: 'If you look at astrology in general, you can consider it a psychological study in a three-fold sense. First, it provides a magnificent field for an objective, cold-blooded study of symbols. That would be looking at astrology from the outside, without necessarily subscribing to any astrologers' beliefs. Second, it can be a sort of vast esoteric creed, within which people may become philosophically and psychologically entangled. Third, it can be used to make forecasts of the future, and--something of particular interest to us--it can be applied to the analysis of personality. Whether it works or not is another matter.' --p. 41
