Abstract: '...a study of sexual metaphors and animal symbols used in Indian mythology to express religious concepts about the relationships between men and women, parents and children, gods and goddesses, and humans and deities. The analysis attempts to understand these dominant themes as they occur in myths, rituals, and other cultural manifestations throughout the ancient world and in our own contemporary culture.'
