Abstract: 'Hsaving outlined some of the factors that have complicated and hampered theology's efforts to "converse" with Jung, having explained what it is that impels us to enter into these conversations and where we propose to do so, having outlined how we intend to structure and organize our discussion, and finally, having stated why we feel that the way we will do so stands a fair chance of yielding significant results, we are now prepared to take up the tasks that we have set for ourselves.' --Introduction
