Abstract: 'The concept of Kairos is deeply rooted in the mythology and medicine of ancient Greece. According to Harold Kelman, Kairos, the youngest son of the Greek god Zeus, represents the "auspicious moment,' a unique event which may never be repeated. It is a time of divine decision, to be regarded most seriously, because it might usher in boom or ban....The concept of Kairos is directly or indirectly linked to three schools of depth psychology: Freudian, Jungian, and Existential....' --P. 3
