Abstract: 'The study of Sandplay therapy will contribute to the professional dialogue on specific therapeutic concerns for children from disrupted families. It will add to the literature for therapists training in Sandplay therapy. This study will be of value to the general therapeutic professionals who have an interest in childhood loss of family unity, specifically for those concerned with the affects of divorce. Due to the limited number of available case histories addressing the issue of loss from the child's perspective, this study provides important documentation.' --Chapter 1
