'From the perspective of the dream, the world as percieved through the constrictions of human consciousness is always a world out of balance, limited by the demands of a personal consciousness....It is in the experience of dreams, as well as other manifestations of unconscious processes that one realizes that the state of imbalance which may have very dramatic references to the exterior world, is ultimately the issue within each individual life.'
